His art
Catalan by birth, born in the coastal town of Lloret de Mar on August 23, 2005 but Andalusian with roots from Pruna (Seville) and Villanueva de l'Arquebisbe (Jaén). In the bosom of a family of Andalusian emigrants. At only 4 years old he began to learn Flamenco by ear, all thanks to his grandmother Carmen. She would take him to a market where they sold music of various styles, but the first thing that little Alex bought was the flamenco repertoire of artists who have shaped him into what he is today..
The world of flamenco singing began to attract him more in his adolescence, at the age of 12. He also had the idea of composing thanks to his idol, also a friend, Ricardo Gabarre Clavería (better known as Junco) who encouraged him with his emotional support to enter this world.
In the tragic year of 2020, Alex Escot began composing ''Encara Seguíxes En El Recordo'', the album that would change his entire career. In 2021 he would begin releasing the Singles from it and on April 29, 2022, after a long wait, he released his first LP.

This album has eight songs, six of them composed by himself and two composed by two other great artists. One of them is written by the Madrid author Antón Álvarez, better known as C. Tangana, entitled “Ingovernable”. The third song on the album is “Ay, Humanidad!”, written by the Sevillian Carmelo Marín Reyes. The album is a huge hit in CD sales in more than 16 countries, and is also released on USB and digitally the year of its release. In the summer of 2021, their success had a stronger impact with the first two singles from 'Encara Seguéixes En El Recordo' which were: ''Tu Fuiste Mala'' and ''Lourdes, La Fuerte''. The music videos swept YouTube and other platforms, especially the latter, which today has more than 300,000 views.
We are in 2023, a year of great changes in Alex Escot's career. After great development and time immersed in a lot of singing, he premieres the 2023 tour of his latest work accompanied by great musicians such as Tati Amaya, Miranda Fernández and Dany Cubero.
While touring Spain and occasionally in the United States, he begins the creative process of his next album. We can't give this one a title yet, but it's a very different project from the previous one. It comes with a different vision, it's more ambitious, more versatile and more jondo but with the freshness of what's modern. He will fight to bring Flamenco closer to young people together with great world-class instrumentalists.
